I know I'm an old fart, 'cause I hear myself starting sentences
with the phrase 'these fuckin' kids today'...
Maybe one of these days I'll get lucky and run into the guy who came up with the bright idea for the show Jersey Shore, and decided to cast it with the biggest bunch of jerkoffs and losers TV land has ever seen. Maybe then I'll get a chance to beat the fuckin' snot outta the guy.
Anyway, ya know I'm a Jersey guy, but I'm still pissed at the idea that a bunch of misbehaved, showoffee jerkoffs - from Staten Island no less - should somehow come to represent the Jersey Shore. Well, nowadays kids ain't like we were. Like I said - we were more concerned with getting high and getting laid than these kids who just want to capture something on their phones that they can share on social media. Case in point? This:
Look at the pic on the right. Damn near every one of these little dooshbags has his phone in record mode. The only 'good' thing I have to say about them is that it's not ALL just the usual suspects causing the mayhem. It's a mixed crew - little idiots acting like little idiots...

Aberdeen PBA releases statement on Seaside Heights Destruction
“Once again, the streets of Seaside Heights are being turned into a battleground of chaos, disorder, and disrespect - and once again, police officers are left to clean up the mess with nothing more than lip service from the leaders in Trenton.
Let us be absolutely clear: the recent surge of violence, large-scale unruly crowds, and blatant disregard for the law is not a surprise. It is the predictable result of policies that have handcuffed law enforcement, empowered lawbreakers, and ignored the safety and quality of life of our communities.
Governor Murphy and Attorney General Platkin - your failure to act decisively in the face of growing lawlessness is an insult to the men and women who wear the badge and to every resident and business owner in Seaside Heights and throughout this state. Your reluctance to support tougher enforcement, your silence in the face of repeated public safety breakdowns, and your misguided priorities have emboldened the very behavior you claim to oppose. Simply put, while you’re making political theatre the state is falling apart.

Hard to believe, but it's true - they're still out there. They're getting harder and harder to find, and they now cost a buck to use, but still, the fact that still exist is kinda remarkable. Know how I know? I just remarked about it. This one's in the parking lot of a State Park.
Every time I see one I'm reminded of my father's gag when he talked about not leaving his kids any money, he'd say 'I'm gonna spend my last dime calling you to tell you I just spent my last time'.

Okay, so this is me back in '71 or thereabouts knockin' down a dube rolled from the paper that came from the Cheech & Chong album 'Big Bamboo'. Anyway, over the weekend I was fucking around with a couple of the AI websites that claim they can make a still photo dance, or sing, or whatever the fuck. They came back with this - I hope you can see it. It's like a five-second clip with no sound, but it's still scary as fuckall that a computer can do shit like this on it's own:

why wouldn't kids have a " blatant disregard for the law" when they've seen adults in our guv and on the news doing just that? They saw how they were lied to for 2 yrs of lockdown while those in charge did as they pleased.
ReplyDeleteLook at what adults have done to kids world. LGBTQ, boys in girls locker room, boys taking over girls sports, not allowed to play outside like we did, violent video games and movies heavy on gore. They see no future with AI and robots taking all the jobs. Propaganda instead of history taught in school. Put yourself in their shoes.
