It's said that dogs can understand and act on as many
as 100 seperate phrases and commands...
Cats and dogs are both popular pets, but they have distinct characteristics. Cats are known for their independence and solitary nature, while dogs are often considered more social and trainable. These differences stem from their evolutionary history and how they interact with humans.
Cats are generally more independent, requiring less constant attention and supervision than dogs. Dogs are more dependent on their owners and crave interaction and reassurance. Dogs may actually care about you. Cats don't give a fuck if you're alive or dead, as long as the litter box is clean and there's food and water in the bowls. At least that's what my cat told me...

I will have to differ with you on whether or not cats care about you. I recently underwent cancer treatment where the treatment was almost as bad as the disease. I was able to sleep and drink fluids and that was about it. My two cats never left me alone. They were always nearby, watching. As soon as I laid down they moved in close and stayed until I got up and then they would follow me wherever I went. Unusual behavior for these two. As soon as I was recovered enough to get about they returned to their regular routine of aloofness and ignoring everything but the sound of the food bag.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that a dog would have behaved the same way but let us not sell our feline friends short.
