A dried out old prune? Geez, Donny - that musta really hurt...

Springsteen made a series of vehement speeches on stage in Manchester as he kicked off his latest tour, arguing that Trump was “an unfit president” heading up “a rogue government”. Trump responded on his Truth Social platform, calling Springsteen “highly overrated … not a talented guy – just a pushy, obnoxious JERK”.
He (the 'boss') may be too big and too rich to either be affected or even give a fuck, but somebody might wanna remind him of this phrase: "Dixie Chicks fuck up" that refers to the controversy surrounding The Chicks (formerly known as the Dixie Chicks) in 2003. Lead singer Natalie Maines criticized then-President George W. Bush during a concert in London. In March 2003, before the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, Natalie Maines told a London audience: "Just so you know, we're on the good side with y'all. We do not want this war, this violence, and we're ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas". This statement, reported by The Guardian, ignited a backlash in the United States, particularly within the country music community.
And where are they now?

  2. You got it. Second rule of show biz, never dis your fan base (first is no such thing as bad publicity, but that came out before '66).

PS Giada doesn't look that bad. Another temperamental, somewhat over-expressive Italian (grew up with a lot of them), but there's nothing wrong with that.

  3. Its unfortunate that Springsteen never paid attention in history. The National Socialists gathered power to the government and themselves. They didn't not divest the government of power. If old Bruce paid attention, he would know that the people censoring free speech were universally on the wrong side of history. It's sad that fame and fortune doesn't mean intelligence and circumspection.

  4. Springsteen will be 76 this year and is worth over a billion dollars, why would he care if he's cancelled? Not that it's gonna happen anyways...

  5. I was against the war in Iraq. We invaded a sovereign country that was not a threat to us, and executed its leader. Spent trillions we didn't have.

Bruce Springsteen? Turning fans away who weren't jabbed? What a douche.
