We were different kids with simpler pleasures...

I was a kid in and of the 50's and 60's. This was the  way we spent our free time - and what little money we had...

Today's kids couldn't get the importance of these if they tried. Sad for them. Not just the photo booths but the whole 'arcade concept' as we knew it. This was a grand adventure for us - to have a fist full of nickels and dimes and free reign to do as we pleased, this is how we got our jollies. No cell phones, no helicopter parents, just a lot of bells and noises and cheesy prizes were enough to keep us happy and entertained for hours on end...

And here you have the office of the Governor of Wisconsin issuing instructions for state employees on how to fuck with, delay, ignore and deny access to federal employees. This certainly is a great country, isn't it?

Your daily crock of shit quote for today:
'Minnesota's diversity should be its greatest strength, but our neglect of nonwhite students has stifled our progress toward growth and equity.'

Concentrates and vapes are each down 15% over the last year, while edibles and flowered cannabis decreased by 14% and 5%, respectively, according to an analysis by the state Office of Cannabis Management. “As the market has grown to over 500 brands and nearly 370 stores open, we have begun to see average retail prices fall in several leading categories, including Flower, Edibles, Concentrates and Vaporizers,” John Kagia, OCM’s executive director of market policy, innovation and analytics, told The Post.

  1. More marijuana stores opening? Have you bothered to count how many of them there already are in every little town in New England? I'd guess they account for 20% of all storefronts in small towns. My son and I were noticing that the poorer the town, the more cannabis stores there seemed to be. The number should be a good metric for how decrepit and decayed the town has become. It's starting to look like the old mining towns ... 50 bars and 1 church per town. Substitute cannabis for alcohol, and you have the same phenomena, except without the mining industry and employment.

    2. As a State of XXXXXXX employee, I had to take training on how to subvert ICE.
Totally ridiculous waste of taxpayer money.

  2. Michael Moore should go to the Middle East to visit. Without security, I'd give him a week before he was kidnapped and had his head cut off for an Hamas/Isis video opportunity.

  3. to those bound South on 75
please, stop in the Carolinas; if you continue further South, our pretty little dingdong at the end of this journey is liable to tip over.

    1. What did we do to you?!? They should go west. Leave the south alone.

  4. Photo booths are still a thing, and my kid makes a pretty good living with them.

And I can't wait for the day that we can treat ATF agents like the state of Wisconsin wants to treat ICE agents.

  5. Notice the word "claimed" in the piece on illegals caught in Colorado? Dirty press always siding with criminals over citizens and victims.

    1. There were active duty Army involved. I suspect this is what we get for allowing illegals to join the military with the promise of citizenship when their tours are up. How many of those "military-age males" who snuck across the border took advantage of that to embed themselves in our military. And this is what they do in their spare time. Security for illegal gangs.

  6. I don't know what's holding Bondi back from arresting governors who blatantly violate federal law and brag about it.

    2. Maybe. But consider the pushback she's going to get when she starts prosecuting. (Just look at the screaming about the judges arrested for aiding and abetting illegals fleeing ICE.) I bet she's working hard to make the cases watertight and airtight. Don't want anyone getting off because of a slipshod sloppy prosecution.

    3. I'm betting on "slipshod sloppy prosecution" being the order of the day once the prosecutions start.

  7. Colorado Springs sits on I-25, straight up from Juarez and Albuquerque. Nothing but shithole illegals in the Academy blvd corridor with plenty of carnicerias, taco trucks and drugs from Hancock Blvd to Platte Ave. There are thousands more that they didn't catch in the raids, and Ft Carson has always supplied the soldier cash to fuel the flesh trade.

    1. Used to live next door in Colorado City when it was a great town with an amazing history. What a shame this has happened to so many great places in America.
