When will this 'men saying they're girls' bullshit end?

Stephanie Turner took a knee in protest after standing on the piste before her bout against Redmond Sullivan at the University of Maryland. She was shown a black card and informed she would not be allowed to continue in the women's foil tournament.

International Fencing Federation (FIE) rules state a fencer is not permitted to refuse to fence another properly entered fencer for any reason. USA Fencing, which enacted its transgender and non-binary policy in 2023, said: "The policy is based on the principle that everyone should have the ability to participate in sports and was based upon the research available of the day."

It added: "USA Fencing will always err on the side of inclusion, and we're committed to amending the policy as more relevant evidence-based research emerges, or as policy changes take effect in the wider Olympic and Paralympic movement."

It's knee-jerk reaction time in the makets. Stocks - like utilities - that would have zero effect from the tariffs - went down with the rest of the market, with the one sector specifically up all day - telecoms.

Why? Who the fuck knows. Certainly retailers that get too much of the shit they sell from overseas got their asses kicked. Look at Renovators Supply. The April Fools joke closest to what I believe...

25 hours of what exactly?

The other day - actually April Fools Day, no less - Cory Booker broke the record for the longest continuous speech in modern Senate history on Tuesday, speaking for approximately 25 hours and five minutes. Senator Booker surpassed the previous record of 24 hours and 18 minutes held by Senator Strom Thurmond in 1957. Senator Strom Thurmond was speaking out AGAINST the Civil Rights Act of 1957, while Senator Booker was speaking out against Donald Trump's policies. The reality is, he said not one single thing that was 'quote worthy'. There was no singular item of significance in 25+ hours of mindless rambling. It was nothing but show business, but sounded more like blathering than anything else.

There was one fascinating thing worth mentioning, however...

The man didn't pee for 25 hours. "I don't want the Senate doctor to get mad at me. I don't want my doctor to get mad at me, but I really spent time dehydrating myself beforehand so I did not have to go to the bathroom," he said. "My strategy was to stop eating on Friday, and to stop drinking the night before, I started on Monday. That had its benefits and had its downsides." Screw the tarrifs - it's Gator Fuckin' Time...

Courtship between alligators begins in early April. Yes, love is in the air right now, and you might spot alligators on the move in their search for a mate. Alligators are highly aggressive during this time. The courtship process begins with the male alligator letting out a low bellowing sound to both attract females and warn other males to stay away, according to Alligator Alley Farm. Once the gator finds its mate, the pair will begin rubbing their snouts together or against each other's backs, the company adds.

The gators will also push each other underwater as part of an hours-long courtship process before officially mating. After mating season ends, the female alligators build a mound with soil, vegetation and debris to lay around 32 to 46 eggs in a nest between late June and early July.

FWC explains the eggs' incubation takes 63-68 days, and hatching happens around mid-August through early September.

Violent crime in New York City took a nosedive in the early months of 2025 under NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch’s no-nonsense leadership.
