I seriously doubt if any of these ten or twelve people know what DEI stands for. Didn'tja ever wonder who's behind this stupidity? I mean, somebody somewhere is probably paying these goofballs, but to what end?
Maybe a couple dozen (?) people plan to participate in a 24-hour economic blackout on this coming Friday to protest what they call corporate greed, companies that have rolled back their diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and President Donald Trump's efforts to eliminate federal DEI programs since taking office.
During Friday's one-day event, nimnods participating in the boycott are encouraged 'not to spend any money anywhere for one day'. If they have to spend, they are encouraged to buy from a local business. Yeah - that'll teach those bastards, huh? Gimme a fuckin' break...

They're only $ 20.00 - and it comes to you with free shipping!

I may, accidentally, not have spent anything on Friday. I have since made up for it.
ReplyDeletePoint of logic: Retail corporations track sales over quarters. One bad day (that’ll be made up for over the following three days) means nothing in the midst of a quarter.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the article a friend sent me years ago about the Hispanics boycotting businesses in a Texas town for one day and the stores reported a drastic drop in shoplifting and theft the day of the boycott. I'd bet on the same outcome of this bunch of twerps' weak kneed boycott.
ReplyDeleteShoplifting/Retail Theft hit an all-time low on that date. Business owners want to expand the project!
ReplyDeleteIf I read it right the boycott was an Al Sharpton idea. Kind of a retarded thing ,so it is plausible .
ReplyDeleteThese people complaining about DEI, cutting Ukraine spending & support, DOGE, going to Republican townhalls and shouting down the Congress member I wonder how much they are getting paid.
ReplyDeleteWhen leftists call for a buycot it should be declared a national holiday for those in the Loss Prevention business.
