A federal district court judge blocked the Environmental Protection Agency's efforts to claw back $20 billion the Biden administration awarded to eight climate nonprofit organizations.
In her opinion Tuesday evening, Judge Tanya Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, who was appointed by former president Barack Obama, wrote that the Trump EPA failed to submit evidence to support its termination of the billion-dollar grants. Chutkan's ruling, however, does not force federal disbursements to continue to grant recipients, allowing the funds to remain frozen.
A different Federal Judge in a different case has demanded that the Trump administration return 200 +/- illegals that they shipped to El Salvador. Find the logic in that. Through it all, we have to believe that Shakespeare was right about lawyers...

See - this cartoon is thoughful and humorous. Most cartoons these days are lame as dogfuck. Case in point? If you get a chance, take a look at the newer cartoons in The NewYorker magazine. Whoever is the cartoon editor must be a friggin' numbnuts eunuch. In an effort to be timely and edgy, they end up with no humor and leftie nonsense. Where's their funny bone anyway?

The Chicoms don't do many things on a small scale. This is the new BYD factory somewhere in DingDong province (What difference does the real name make? It's not like you'd know where it is). Anyway, the site is set to dwarf rival Tesla's Gigafactory in Nevada that covers 4.5 square miles. When completed, the factory, which is being built in eight phases, is set to cover 32,000 acres or 50 square miles. For comparison, San Francisco in California is 46.9 square miles. Phases five to eight are now underway, majorly expanding the current factory. According to reports, BYD as a whole has over 900,000 employees and will add over 200,000 more in the next three months.

More than 40 lawsuits filed in recent days by state attorneys general, unions and nonprofits seek to erect a bulwark in the federal courts against President Trump’s blitzkrieg of executive actions that have upended much of the federal government and challenged the Constitution’s system of checks and balances.

During a Tuesday game against Texas A&M, Christian Smith-Johnson, a junior at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, made one of the most spectacular over-the-fence catches of the early spring baseball season. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning, Aggies first baseman Gavin Kash crushed a long fly ball toward the right field, where Smith-Johnson was playing him.
Smith-Johnson sprinted toward the right field bullpen, and with a short fence standing in his way, he leaped over the wall, making the catch and robbing Kash of a grand slam. He would hurdle back over the fence and fire the ball in, but not in time to stop the runner from tagging up and scoring from third. Helluva play, kid...

Re the huge Chinese factory: look up what happened to BaoShan Steel back in the 90s. For the GoogleFu impaired: biggest steel company in the world, lowest of low tech, went bust with a couple hundred thou employees. The army had to be called in to handle the resulting riots. It did not go well. Lesson: huge groups of Chinese workers are very dangerous when the business goes sour.
