'Saw Dave with his group , unfortunately Paul had passed on.. this was in 1983 at the Hollwwood Bowl on a beautiful July Night with several friends!!! also Stan Kenton and Jerry Mulligan.. or is it "Gerry?? I'm old .. spelling names may be a bit off but I can still "REMEMBER THE MUSIC!!!!!!!!"

My parents would watch him live when they were dating in the 50’s near Chicago. Jazz is awesome and fun to play on the piano - especially if you get frustrated with trying to play classical with precision…. “I know the chords I’ll play what I want”. My current progression is C minor to B flat to A flat to E flat.
