My spouse has mentioned the Canadian plane crash & the FAA layoffs 3 times already but she has TDS really bad so I didn't mention the crash is in Canada or that the FAA layoffs where part of layoff ALL the probationary hires the fed has.

ReplyDeleteI watched the landing video several times. That plane came in way too fast, way too steep, didn't flare out on landing at all. Can't tell if flaps were fully extended. Winds did not seem to be a factor, but who can say about runway ice? Black box will show flap position and if landing gear was fully extended and locked. Cockpit / control tower transcripts? This looks like pilot error ... so was pilot a DEI or a muzzie or a trans?
