Just to clarify, I agree completely with this sentiment...

  1. So we let bygones be bygones and just forget about the house and everything we owned? (That's rhetorical, I never lived in California.) In my opinion, this disaster was preventable, and those responsible should be removed from any authority as soon as possible. If that's politics, then let's just say I'm less forgiving than you are, and I appreciate you letting me say this on your blog.

    1. Forgive me for jumping in here but you are 100% correct - the fact is the problem WAS caused by the corrupt politicians! Anyone who chooses to ignore that fact is fooling themselves!

    2. You are exactly right. If justice is to be done a bunch of politicians need to go to prison for fraud. The fraud is spending tax money on frivolous bullshit instead of protecting the tax paying citizens of the state. When firefighters are hired because they are non-white and non-male or straight, when hundreds are laid off due to "budget cuts" or because they refused the vax. THAT IS POLITICS.

  2. And if the disaster isn't "natural"...

  3. I totally agree. I don't want to score any political points on the California fire. In fact, I urge everyone outside California to just ignore the whole thing.

This HillBetty's better in color...

When our Twisted buddies first posted  her , it was a B&W print. I prefer my  colorized version. How about you?   Christmas is coming ...
