The Biden administration announced Friday the approval of $4.28 billion in additional student loan relief for 54,900 borrowers across the country who work in public service. This relief brings the total loan forgiveness by the administration to approximately $180 billion for nearly 5 million Americans, according to the Education Department.

There's something important to note here. The people who are receiving this largesse did nothing special. They're not purple heart recipients. Shit - they probably never even got a cat out of a tree.

 

 Working 'in public service' is a fuckin' joke. It's what other people call 'getting a cushy do-nothing government job.

Rummaging through a box of old photos looking for some family Christmas stuff, I found this. I have no idea how it got there, and it hasn't seen the light of day for at least nine years - the last time I went in to that box to look for shit. Believe it or not, the friggin' gum was still sorta good. WTF kinda preservatives or other chemical shit must they have put into them to give them that kinda shelf life? Jeez...
