Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is suing current and former Federal Emergency Management Agency officials, claiming they “conspired to interfere with the civil rights of Trump voters” in the state by withholding aid in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The lawsuit follows 'alarming' revelations (according to the report)that FEMA workers were given orders to avoid dozens of homes of Trump supporters in Lake Placid in a shocking display of political favoritism.
The scandal came to light after FEMA fired agency supervisor Marn’i Washington, who later claimed that systemic discrimination at the disaster relief agency was “colossal” both in Florida and beyond and alleged she’s been made a “scapegoat” by the agency.
When you think about this whole thing, you realize just how fucked-up the world has become that shit like this would actually be sanctioned by a federal agency. I hope whoever made this policy decision gets their ass throw in the nastiest lockup we have...

On older PCs, there was a master drive and a slave drive designation on one of the busses. Of course this had to be renamed. Ignore the fact that the master drive told the slave drive what to do.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of master & slave. On boats with two engines there is a thing called the synchronizer, when you flip a switch the master engine will tell the slave to sync with it by keeping the rpms the same. Keeps the vibration down. Now there called #1 & #2.
