Regarding those bygone local stores...We had Mazzeo's Bakery, Zanoni's Italian Imports. Walking into Zanoni's was walking into another world! Baccala hanging above, barrels of olives, cheeses, meats, dried vegetables and pastas almost beyond count! Good times then, sadly, both gone now.
