Glen Beck did a great riff on this last week. It's true - no one has really voted for her for this election. There was no primary, there was no campaign, there was nothing more than Joe falling on his sword and annointing her just to piss of his buddy Barack.
Delegates - political hacks - have thrown her in to the limelight, and the toadies in the media will recreate her true personality and record to usher her in to the West Wing. So much for the idea of a democratic republic...

Did anyone vote for her in the 2020 primaries?
ReplyDeleteShe withdrew before the primaries. Polls indicated she'd be more or less skunked even in her home state of California, in spite of endorsements from many prominent Democrats in CA and other states, and I think being the only Californian running.
DeleteBy comparison, every establishment Democrat hated Tulsi Gabbard, but she took 29% of the vote and 2 delegates in her native district, American Samoa. I suppose she was the only Samoan who ever ran for President so they were biased, but it seems that those who knew her best liked her most. Except for politicians following some sort of DEI calculus, it seems to have been pretty much the opposite for Harris.
