Fox news and other outlets are reporting what happened yesterday - A Santa Fe judge Friday dismissed the involuntary manslaughter case against Alec Baldwin for the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film "Rust" after ruling that the prosecution concealed evidence from his legal team.
Baldwin cupped his face in his hands and wept as Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning the charge cannot be brought against the actor again. "The state's willful withholding of this information was intentional and deliberate," Sommer said. "If this conduct does not rise to the level of bad faith, it certainly comes so near to bad faith as to show signs of scorching prejudice."
Bear in mind it doesn't mean he's not responsible for shooting the girl. This is a mistrial, not an innocent finding...

Back in 1970, somebody thought this was good marketing.
Three states − Alaska, South Carolina and Texas − have asked the Supreme Court to block President Joe Biden's new student debt relief plan.

about the most liberal of all of the really good editorial cartonists
out there, so this little jibe at Biden is a pretty big deal.

There was a time back in the '50's and '60's when housewives like my mother made their choice of which supermarket to shop at based on which one did S&H and which did the Plaid Stamps. I can remember sitting at our dining room table with her with a wet sponge sitting in a bowl doing the stamps to put in to the books. You guys do that too?

Remember those books of stamps to well. We had S&H (the green ones) and Gunn Brothers ( the blue ones).
ReplyDeleteGreen stamps and Raleigh cigarette coupons.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, MSM short on accuracy; there are no "live rounds inside the barrel" of a revolver.
ReplyDeleteSend them some Fecebook fact checkers...

I was intrigued with how they "spin the barrel" and fit "three rounds in the chamber."
DeleteKing Korn stamps were big in the MW also.
