Not baking drippings, bacon drippings. I recall my maternal grandmother mentioning this once in a while reminiscing about her times. Very dark and uncertain in those days. Don't know the details of what and why bacon fat was useful. I'll do the research. Seems Israel could use some of that, ifyaknowaddimean.
