Spring training kicks in to high gear this week with most, if not all teams cranking up their workouts both in Arizona and here in Florida. Yankees pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 15. With a couple of new names in the rotation, like Marcus Stroman and catcher Austin Wells to potentially play a bigger role this season, this report date is the most important on the Yankees' spring training calendar.
Although a good number of Yankees players have been in Tampa working out for the past two weeks, the first full-squad workout will be on Feb. 20, when new Yankees like Juan Soto and Trent Grisham will work out with their new team for the first time. With so many big free agents yet to be signed, it'll be interesting to see if any of them end up with the Yankees. Blake Snell was reportedly offered a deal, so there have been talks between the two sides already.

First Super Bowl I missed in it's entirety ever, and you know what I don't feel slighted. I know this is sacrilege for being Italian but I hate anise and anything made from it,so I'll pass on the Bucca, but the pastry looks gorgeous and I'd be all over the espresso too. One good thing did come out of last night though, I had the combo of 5-2 for the final of the game and will be 4G's richer come noon today when I stop at my local gin mill for my daily alcohol fix
