It has been 12 years since I had a dog. She was a German Shepard- Siberian Husky mix that lived 16 years. It cost just over $100 a month in Purina dog food back then. She was a big dog. Vet bills ran about $500 a year that increased to about $900 a year near end of life. This was 12 years ago and I can see this as doubling today. I am in the process of trying to find a short haired German Sheppard puppy that has majority brown markings.
