Still one of this country's greatest mysteries - 60 years ago today...

My father kept his copy of this, along with the Newark Evening News and a couple others from that day also. After he died, my Mom went through all the shit he had like this and tossed the papers. It's not like they had any real value, but they did re-create some of the craziest days I've ever lived through. I was in 4th grade that day. The nuns shut the school down and sent everyone home early at around 2:00pm.
I am NOT a conspiracy nut, but even I'll admit there's just too much shit that happened that day that just doesn't gibe. Was it the mob or the CIA or whothefuck knows.? I lean towards CIA...

Costco sells Jack Daniels by the barrel. I think I'd be dead long before I could drink all that, but FUCK - what a way to go, huh?
All we have nearby me are a BJ's and SAM'S. BJ's sucks, SAM'S is okay but I really wish we had a COSTCO nearby. They mostly all have pretty much the same shit, but I find the butcher shop is so much better at COSTCO than the other two places. Juss' sayin'...

A little something for everybody that day. Seals and CroftS? Jeez...

And I don't want to belabor the point, but an exit
wound in the back of his head just doesn' make sense.
Know what I mean?

Do you know anyone who's bought in to this whole crypto thing? I have a friend - a retired NYPD detective - who sweared for three years how much money he was making buying this shit. Told me he started buying bitcoin when it was like $ 1,200.00. He's poured about 40 G's of his pension money into this shit over the years. About a year ago, some crypto-mining dude (or outfit) stole all his shit. The FBI is involved in the investigation, but they say there's little chance of him ever finding out who did it. Google the words crypto and Warren Buffett together to hear how I think of this shit.

When news broke that President Kennedy had been shot, cartoonist Bill Mauldin rushed back to the newsroom and started drawing. The Sun-Times didn’t usually run his cartoon on Saturdays, but this wasn’t a usual day.

  1. Thanks for the JFK reminder so far this morning no local or National news outlet has even bothered to mention it. And on the flip side of Johnny Cash we have Jimi Hendrix who jerked off his way out of the Army with a general discharge…SST

  2. As far as your take on who assassinated JFK, I agree. In fact I feel that all 4 of our country’s major assassinations during the 60’s, Malcolm X,JFK,RFK & MLK were all perpetrated or over seen by our CIA and or the FBI..

  3. Sorry, but it is quite clear who killed Kennedy. It was a CIA hit and the only people the government is fooling with the "no one knows who did it" crap is themselves. There is physically no way Oswald could have killed Kennedy and yet have produced a frontal head shot that we all see in the film and photos because Oswald was behind Kennedy when the shooting started. Also, Oswald had a bolt action rifle. There is no way he could hit a moving target with three quick shots in a row like has been told to us. It is OBVIOUS that the CIA took him out.

  5. in re Andy Cuomo:
certainly couldn't be worse than what's living in Gracie Mansion now

  6. From what I've seen it was an inexperienced secret service agent with a new AR-15. Oswalds ammo wouldn't have made a wound like that.
