It's funny, but it's also right on the money for those of us
'getting up there in years'. I can remember what they served for dinner at my Boy Scout summer camp on a Saturday night back in July,1966, but fuck if I remember what I had for lunch yesterday afternoon. My wife calls it 'selective amnesia' - I guess that's as good a name as any for it, but I have a theory also.
I think what happens is, our brains just get all filled up with shit and we forget to delete the old useless files, so your brain computer or what ever the fuck it is just writes over a buncha shit at random, deleting the other shit. That theory works just as well as any other you might come up with. Where are my glasses?

Ask it to make you a Rum Old Fashioned with no fruit and it'll probably start to smoke and chirp.
Why the fuck would anyone who's not already hammered even consider getting a drink from a robot machine thing anyway?
They think this is the fuckin' Jetsons or something? And then they can't figure out why their kids andd grandkids can't find jobs after they get their Master's Degree in Fine Arts.

Somebody wanna explain to me how New Jersey (and to some extent New York) drivers didn't make the top ten on this list? Fuck - I'da thought we (me being born and raised there) were the most readiest to beep our horns and beat the shit out of you if you don't jack-rabbit start when the light turns green. Juss' sayin'...

Okay - I'm gonna sound stupid here - how the fuck does someone who lives in such a rarified world as her come in contact with someone who's got this fuckin' flu thing? This - honest to god - sounds like bullshit to me.
“Following the First Lady’s positive test for Covid-19, President Biden was administered a Covid test this evening,” the White House said. “The President tested negative.” The latest alarm over coronavirus in the White House comes ahead of a busy week for the president, packed with events including foreign visits across Asia.
The president delivered a Labour Day speech in Philadelphia earlier in the day and was scheduled to present the Medal of Honour to a Vietnam War army helicopter pilot before beginning his tour. He is scheduled to depart for India on Thursday and hold bilateral talks with Indian prime minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G20 leaders’ summit on 9-10 September. The president will then fly to Hanoi, Vietnam and then to Alaska to mark the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The White House did not immediately comment on whether Mr Biden’s foreign travel would be affected by Ms Biden’s positive Covid test.
And while you're at it explainin' shit to me, somebody else can explain to me why he'd go to Alaska on 9/11 instead of NYC. Juss' sayin'...

I suspect that if you took Northern Virginia out, Virginia would be pretty low on the list of most confrontational drivers. But the DC/MD/NVA beltway area is full of asshole drivers. Between the yuppie government employees in their BMWs amd Merceders, and the South East DC ghetto racers, anything within 60 miles of DC and the entire DC - Baltimore corridor is designed for road rage and lack of common courtesy.
ReplyDeleteConcur. NOVA is a magnet for asshole drivers. Years of commuting on two wheels into that cesspool was an adventure. In my experience, taxicabs are the worst - they literally try to kill you - followed closely by any Audi and/or BMW.
DeleteThe Kidney thing is true. I got a Pancreas/Kidney transplant in 02, so I have 2 Pancreases, and 3 kidneys. They just rewire the internal plumbing a bit.
ReplyDeleteThe just radiated the heck out of my left kidney after extreme chemo and left it. Hurt for 3 years, but all is good now.
