Disgruntled - or better put 'disgusted' - Vermont residents have voted to shut access to their picturesque town after annoying influencers flocked to the area to take selfies.
The social media morons were seen taking selfies with the idyllic fall backdrop while flying drones, trespassing private properties and leaving trash on the rolling fields.
In particular, residents hoped to close Cloudland Road in Pomfret between September 23 to October 15, when autumn colors begin to emerge.

Biting the hands that feed them. Tourism is the biggest industry in Vermont. But I do understand, having lived in Vermont for 12 years, and seeing how asinine some of the leaf-peepers are.

ReplyDeleteThere then must be a misunderstanding. These then are not 'influencers', they are democrats saving the planet by leaving their trash in someone elses backyard.
My luck, they'll all come to Gatlinburg now.
