According to the LA Times, Trump won last night's debate...

How can the other Republican candidates for president catch up to Donald Trump? What is their plan to beat someone with a 30-plus point lead in the polls and who’s been using his many arrests the way the Super Mario Brothers use red mushrooms - they only make him stronger? We could have hoped to see a little of that answer last night, but instead we saw a whole lot of nothing.
Chris Christie needs to shut the fuck up and go away. Hutchinson looked and sounded like a Cub Scout lost in the forest. Ramaswamy won't get elected just because of his name no matter how smart he is. VP Mike came off like a cross between the Statue of David and Lurch. Haley sounded shrill. The other guy from North Dakota was wallpaper.
DeSantis did well enough to get my attention, but I'm used to hearing him here in Florida anyway, so there's that. As for that pledge bullshit, everyone on stage except Asa Hutchinson and Trump-hating puffer fish Christie raised their hands to say they would support Trump even if he’s convicted.

This could easily be a $ 100,000,000.00 injury
to this guy going in to free agency.

The Angels were dealt a massive blow on Wednesday, as two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani was diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow after exiting his start after just 1 1/3 innings in a 9-4 loss in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Reds.
It’s the second time that Ohtani has suffered a torn UCL. He had the same injury in 2018, and it forced him to undergo Tommy John surgery and not pitch in 2019. The Angels, though, are waiting on a second opinion on Ohtani before they decide whether he’ll need to undergo surgery.
But Ohtani, the heavy favorite to win the American League MVP Award for the second time in three seasons, will not pitch again this season after he underwent an MRI exam that revealed the tear in between the doubleheader games.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was Miles, right? I honestly
don't know if I like this or not - it's cool, but it's kinda creepy, too.

The California marketing firm behind Bud Light’s disastrous tie-up with Dylan Mulvaney fired more than a dozen employees just days after top brass boasted about a lavish junket to an award ceremony on the French Riviera.

Did you know there was a Mustang all the way
back in 1949? No? Me neither...

The 1949 Mustang on display at Fisher's Department Store in Tacoma, WA. It was built in Renton, Washington by the Mustang Engineering Corporation and came out in January, 1949, almost a year before Volkswagen came out with the Transporter/Bus. It had a 4 cylinder Hercules 59hp engine that got 25 to 35 miles per gallon. It had a 6-Passenger, rust-proof, aluminum body and could cruise at 65mph.
