Florida Woman goes for a swim but forgot to undo her seat belt...

NBCMiami.com - Officials responded after a car crashed into a pool at an apartment complex in Fort Lauderdale Tuesday afternoon. Fort Lauderdale Police responded at around 2:30 p.m. to the complex off Oakland Boulevard and Northeast 30th Street.
A silver sedan appeared to have crashed through a wooden gate before going into the pool. Footage from Chopper 6 showed the damage and the car completely submerged in the pool. People who live at the apartment complex say the woman driving this car lives here and once she crashed into the pool, one of their neighbors ran out and helped her out her car. A woman who lives at the complex said she heard loud crash, stepped outside and saw the crashed car.
"When I looked out the door I said 'oh my gosh,' and my neighbor he's not here right now, he took her out, she's fine she's in shock and everything," Sonia Valentine said. There were no injuries, including the woman who crashed the car, police said.
It's unclear how the car got into the water.

  1. Lady, you press the pedal on the LEFT to stop, not the one on the right.

  2. Looking at the picture, I'm amazed at the lack of oil or gas in the water, no dirt from the chassis on the pool bottom, and no tire marks on the curb around the pool.
