I call mine Glenda. I have no idea why -
I've never known a 'Glenda'...
Anyway, yesterday Glenda was giving me directions to
a client's house, and she told me to make a left
when I got to Augustine Drive...
I am, evidently, easily confused...
The original is a time capsule by itself... And the version from Darryl's House...
We call ours Ophelia after our old (now deceased) pet goat who musta found an untended cannabis field in woods around our place in Oregon; always friendly, loving, and very easily confused just like Laertes' sister.
ReplyDeleteMy name is MS google. I moved to the DFW area for a carpentry job, building sheds for folks all over the MetroPlex. Workday started pre dawn to load up and than off to the most conjested turnpike system I have ever driven on. I saw so many 3 and 4 road high flyovers, I'm telling you I'd get fookin' scared pulling my trailer over the tops of those things. And always construction seemingly everywhere.
ReplyDeleteImagine the highways of 5th largest city in the country(Dallas) RIGHT NEXT to the highways of 11th largest(Ft. Worth) Good grief. I will say this, I never had anyone speed up to fill a gap when I turned on my blinker. They respect the turn signal, totally unlike Denver where I lived for 40 years.
Anyway, MS google was a lifesaver. Never once did she misdirect me.
Mine is "Bambi".
