My father usta have a saying - actually he had a couple million sayings about just about everything, but I digress - this one was about course manners when you're playing golf.
He said 'Your mission is to play behind the group in front of you instead of of playing in front of the group behind you. Good, solid New Englander advice. Obviously most people who play golf - especially down here with all the old farts on the courses, they have never heard that saying. Average round here is four and one half hours. I don't have that kind of patience - or that muct time - left in my life.
