Tampafp.com - Florida is home to almost 1.6 million residential swimming pools, but it’s a safe bet that one in the Tampa Bay area is one of a kind in the Sunshine State, and its owner recently snagged some media attention. That’s because it’s shaped like a gun.
Fresh Take Florida, a news service of the University of Florida, reported last week on the six-shooter design of the pool belonging to Louis Minardi, a former gunsmith who lives in Odessa, north of Tampa.
“Neighbors that have bought houses around here have all come by. They’re all, ‘Is this guy a whack job?’” Minardi told FTF. They must all originally be from New Jersey. Nobody else says that, do they? Juss' sayin'...
