JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said its narcotics unit recently found enough fentanyl inside a home that could reportedly kill up to 1.5 million people. In total, the unit found 3 kilos – or about six pounds – of fentanyl, 1.2 kilos – or a little more than two pounds – of cocaine, and over 6,000 pills, some of which were laced with fentanyl, the sheriff's office said.
Some 2,400 of those 6,000 pills – or 40% – had "lethal amounts" of fentanyl in them, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post, which included a photo of the haul. The pills alone could kill 2,500 adults, they said.
"As if those numbers are not staggering enough, according to the DEA, the 3 kilos of fentanyl seized is enough to kill up to 1.5 MILLION people."

ReplyDeleteI can never get my head around news articles like this. I mean, the fear porn is outrageous. If it could "kill 600 zillion " people then why aren't the dope addicts dropping like flies? I mean that stuff is dangerous and yet a drug addled doper can calculate to the nth gram how much he needs to "stop the voices". I know I'm missing something. And I know that possibly this stuff is the "uncut" product. I realize that before it gets to the street user; it's probably cut down to 1-2% of what is shown. But still.....
ReplyDeleteFentanyl is what they used to knock me out after my appendix burst, they turned that stuff on and I was OUT don't think it took a couple seconds . Not something to be used for recreational purposes unless you are in a hurry to meet Jesus . They ought to make the SOBs eat their stuff no sense wasting a bullet .
