Why do we bother to watch or even read the news?

There's actually very little we need to know about. The rest is talking heads with opinions we don't care about, and other bullshit...

Nearly half of President Biden’s 22.2 million Twitter followers
are bullshit - they're bogus bots and totally friggin' fake, a new audit revealed.
The audit, which was done for the social media giant by software firm SparkToro, found that 49.3% of the president’s followers are “fake followers.”
SparkToro has defined “fake followers” as “accounts that are unreachable and will not see the account’s tweets (either because they’re spam, bots, propaganda, etc. or because they’re no longer active on Twitter).”
Elon Musk, who is attempting to buy Twitter but may actually back away from the deal (which I think would be a fuckin' brilliant move if he does it), has expressed concern over the growing number of fake accounts and proposed a potential crackdown on the sham accounts.

There hope for a couple
of you guys out there...

Spotted in an antique shop in Micanopy, Florida. Micanopy is a
funky little almost nothing of a little town about an hour north of where I am in No. Central Florida, but it's got a boatload of history attached to it.
The Town of Micanopy encompasses only 1.03 square miles near the Alachua-Marion County line in rural north-central Florida between Gainesville (home of the University of Florida) and Ocala (the horse capital of the world).
Micanopy’s 669 residents occupy 300 residences. The beautiful southern community was named for Seminole Chief Micanopy, died in 1849.

Micanopy is the oldest inland town in Florida, having been included in a land grant made by the King of Spain in 1817 to Don Fernando de la Maza Arrendondo of Havana and St. Augustine. Founded after Spain relinquished Florida to the United States in 1821, Micanopy became the first distinct American town in the new territory. Originally an Indian trading post, Micanopy was built under the auspices of the Florida Association of New York.

That may be true in some parts of the west coast,
but by me gas is now $ 4.49 a gallon. A six-pack of  Natural Light is three bucks and change. It's getting pretty fuckin' close to parity pricing...

Do you have a special occasion of some kind like
a birthday, an anniversary or some other
event worth celebrating coming up?
This is just one example of the jewelry my wife makes.

Click on the picture above for information on this specific item.

There's a lot more different items of her jewelry available on Etsy.
Take a look at the one-of-a-kind jewelry my wife creates for women.
You can find something nice for your Mom, your wife, your daughter or your girlfriend right here:

Business Insider reported earlier on Thursday on it's web site that
Musk's SpaceX paid $250,000 in 2018 to settle a sexual harassment claim from an unnamed private jet flight attendant who accused Musk of exposing himself to her.
The article quoted an anonymous person who said she was a friend of the flight attendant. The friend had provided a statement as part of the private settlement process, according to the article."I have a challenge to this liar who claims their friend saw me 'exposed' – describe just one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos, …) that isn’t known by the public. She won’t be able to do so, because it never happened," Musk tweeted.
No one has been able to verify the Business Insider account. Musk and SpaceX did not respond to requests for comment on the Business Insider story or on Musk's tweets.
Fuck fame. It's not worth it.

It's been a very long time since, but man -
I can still taste and smell how good that was.
And the frosted mugs. Friggin' awesome.
