A Foo without a drummer is not a Foo...

 
The 50-year-old Foo Fighters drummer died in a hotel room at the Casa Medina in the north of the country’s capital Bogota. The Metropolitan Police of Bogota, in a statement carried by several Colombian newspapers, said: “The cause of death has yet to be established. “According to those close to him, the death could be related to the consumption of drugs.”
Local reports in Colombia said hotel staff called the emergency services after Taylor complained of suffering chest pains. He was already dead by the time medical responders arrived at his hotel room.
Like many musicians, Taylor had become a drug user during his career, and he once opened up about overdosing on heroin in 2001. He said on Beats 1 in 2018: "I was partying a lot. I wasn't a junkie per se, but I was partying. There was a year where the partying just got a little too heavy.
The Foo Fighters announced that they won't be performing at Festival Estéreo Picnic in the capital following the tragedy.
