Microsoft announced on Thursday it has hired Washington DC-based Arent Fox LLP to review how it handles sexual harassment allegations. The move comes after activist shareholders demanded greater disclosure of the company's handling of sexual harassment issues.
Arent Fox is expected to recommend how to improve the culture at the company
Microsoft would then release a report detailing the effectiveness of the company's sexual harassment and gender discrimination policies. It will include details about the investigations and what the results of the investigations were.
