I can't fall that fast, much less climb!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, non habituated black bears will do that, running away, if they even see you ( unless you get between a sow and her cub(s). And grizzlies over the age of about 1 year can't climb a tree.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a black bear and a grizlly is a black bear will climb the tree you are in to get at you, while the grizz will simply knock the tree over.
