It's Race Day. Not the way Biden means it when he's babbling on about race - it's Derby Day.

It's ladies in big hats and fancy, foofy drinks and a buncha horses runnin' around a circle. Big whoop. Does nothing for me...

But I may make a coupla bets on a coupla picks.

Playghoul Magazine on the Munsters.
Think about that on TV in the 60's. What a trip.

Gotta tell ya - I was really seriously tempted to heist 'em for my backyard. Couldn't pull the trigger, though...

During WWII the Germans mercilessly unleashed thousands of  deadly V1 and V2 rockets at the civilian population of England.
At that time with limited technology there was very little the Brits could do in the way of defending themselves against these new weapons, until they figured out how the missiles flew.
In this actual photo, A Spitfire pilot is about to flip the wing of a V1 in order to knock the gyroscope off balance and stop the flying bomb reaching its London target .

That Spitfire pilot was (then) 18 year old Geoffrey Wellum, an accredited ace, squadron leader and fighter pilot. 18 years old.

Today's snowflakes would still be hiding in the basement. What stories will they have to tell their grandchildren? Maybe they'll just show them their 'pussy hat' collections...

If you - or anyone you know - suffers from Gout
you really need to know about this supplement.

Black Cherry Concentrate does one thing - and one thing only.
It breaks down Uric Acid in your system
It does nothing else. It doesn't interfere with anything, it has no side effects or contra-indications with other drugs or supplements that I know of. It does just one thing. It knocks down the severity and frequency of gout flareups.

I wonder what the backstory of this pic is. Ronny - do you know?
...

The City of Oakland, California issued a letter on Thursday in anticipation of this Saturday’s May Day gatherings that warned residents and businesses about potential planned mayhem.

City officials said that aside from planned peaceful events commemorating the struggles of workers and the labor movement, there may be more sinister plans in the works.

It's Fourth of July weekend in 1961 in Newark, NJ. We haven't gone down the shore yet because my parents had the house rented for that week - they musta needed the money. Anyway, thankfully, we had a big-ass backyard and my Father had bought us one of these, so me and my brothers spent the entire day Saturday and Sunday playin' on this friggin' thing. I do vaguely remember (if that was in '61) that is was hotter than fuck that year.
How did we survive that thing without somebody not breaking at least one arm somewhere along the line...

How I feel sometimes reading the news online. Fuck watching TV - that gets way too expensive after throwing shit at the screen all the time

Somebody sooner or later is gonna tell me why these liberal jerkoffs think letting millions of illegals in to the country is a good idea.
Fuck the 'they want them because they'll vote democrat' bullshit. I'm not buying that. The real reason has to be a lot more insidious than that.
...

Now they invent this? NOW? fuck.

This is definitely not at WalMart.

HELP WANTED EVERYWHERE !

This is becoming a bigger and bigger problem all over the country. People - especially younger people - don't want to go back to bullshit, low wage jobs.
Main Street USA AKA - the main drag in the town I used to live in - Manasquan, NJ, could be any one of dozens of beach towns i n the State.
12 HELP WANTED signs dot the store fronts there - and that's just one short block long. A simple Facebook browse finds hundreds more looking for help in the area.  Owners say they need help before the crowds come, and no one is available. What a summer at the shore will look like and how to get workers back on the force will be a huge challenge unless the government stops paying people to stay home. It's that simple.

What an amazing difference this
thing has made at our house.

These things work great. Try one for yourself.
There's more information about how these work right here.

  1. I was in north Georgia last week and I saw a help wanted sign at well drillers shop, so it's not just the fast food places looking... and they (the feds) are still paying $300 a week not to work.
