TGIF - and I mean it. We need to put an end on this week of whackyness.

Now it turns out that Biden doesn't like us much here in Florida. Where does the former President live?

Oh, that's right. Palm Beach, Florida.

Nice little bungalow, huh?

Yeah - I could spend some time on
that little front porch. Absolutely.

Your next President may be from Florida too.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, called consideration of travel restrictions “absurd” and a “political attack on the people of Florida.” He said it would be “ridiculous” to impose curbs on domestic travel while relaxing restrictions on the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Any attempt to restrict or lock down Florida by the federal government would be an attack on our state, done purely for political purposes,” DeSantis said at a press conference in Port Charlotte, Fla. He also questioned the need for any type of restrictions given Florida’s middle-of-the pack ranking in terms of Covid-19 fatalities. The governor also added: “I think it would be unconstitutional, it would be unwise and it would be unjust.”

There's a friggin' downside to everything, isn't there?

Governor Cuomo’s top aide privately apologized to Democratic lawmakers for withholding the state’s nursing-home death toll from COVID-19 - telling them “we froze” out of fear the true numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors.

The stunning admission of a cover-up was made by Secretary to the Governor Melissa DeRosa during a video conference call with state Democratic leaders in which she said the Cuomo administration had rebuffed a legislative request for the tally in August because “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football,” according to an audio recording of the two-hour-plus meeting.

“He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes,” DeRosa said. “He starts going after [New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer.” In addition to attacking Cuomo’s fellow Democratic governors, DeRosa said, Trump “directs the Department of Justice to do an investigation into us.” “And basically, we froze,”

Pitchers and catchers report on Monday.
Life is getting back to semi-normal.

If a bull had tits they'd still be less worthless than Twitter.
I don't fuckin' get this twitting thing at all.

Twitter on Thursday yanked the account of conservative activist group Project Veritas over “repeated violations” of the company’s rules on sharing other people’s private information, after they posted leaked footage of communications between Facebook executives.

A Twitter spokesperson said the @Project_Veritas account was permanently suspended for breaching its “private information policy.” The ban came after the group had posted leaked clips on Wednesday from a meeting with Facebook executives where they discuss development of censorship tools.

We all gotta have something to look forward to,
right? Thanks, Joe...

I told you all about this guy the other day.
Nice follow up to the story:

Richard Lee Oliver was headed to his mother's house near Milwaukee on Saturday when his truck hit snow on I-94 and plummeted 70 feet off of an exit ramp, leaving him with a broken back. Speaking to ABC's Good Morning America with his fiancee by his side, an emotional Oliver said from his hospital bed that he lost control of his vehicle after hitting the snowbank, and was later aided by two Good Samaritans.

I swear these people need to be bitch-slapped into a fuckin' coma. Why is  it SO fucking important to these jerkoffs to tear down their icons and besmirch greatness? It makes zero sense. Maybe it makes their miserable fuckin' lives somehow better.
I really think none of them ever got their asses kicked in a schoolyard. That's probably why they're as fucked up as they are. Juss' sayin'...

Supposedly,  in 1999, a fisherman found a love letter in a bottle somewhere written by a soldier from first world war. The fisherman returned it to his widow who was still alive. There's no attribition about where it happened, so I'm thinking it might be bogus, but still - a pretty cool concept for a story, huh?
...

There's a reason he got locked up. Duh.

Here's something to think about
as we all just drift away...

There's gotta be some kinda bad news every where if ya look hard enough, right? But why are these fuckin' people so determined to look for the negative in everything all the time?

Personal safety is something that I don't take lightly.
Neither should you..

Readers here have been telling me that not only are they buying them for themselves,  they're buying them for their kids, their girlfriends and their wives. I think that's a great idea.
