DeleteRegarding lottery winnings, because Florida doesn't have any other stupid taxes other than sales tax (and lots and lots of fees) the only taxes you pay are Fed taxes.

So, basically, for a 30 year payout, take the total winnings and multiply by .02 and that's your winnings each year. Win $1,000,000? That's $600,000 total actual winnings and you get $20,000 a year after taxes.
It'd be max 35% for the fed, so you take the cash and forget the 30 year payout. I'm not gonna live that long anyway...
