The sky is falling and I don't care. Do you?

When there is no one left to believe or trust, what will we do? I'm clueless on that...

The Arecibo Telescope in Puerto Rico is being decommisioned. It's illustrious scientific career is over.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) will decommission Arecibo Observatory's massive radio dish after damage has made the facility too dangerous to repair.

The announcement came as scientists awaited a verdict about the fate of the iconic observatory after damage to the complex cabling supporting a 900-ton science platform suspended over the dish. In August, a cable slipped out of its socket, but engineers evaluating the situation deemed it stable; earlier this month, a second cable unexpectedly snapped, leaving Arecibo's fate much more perilous. After considering three separate engineering reports, the NSF, which owns the property, has decided the facility is unstable enough that there is no way to repair the damage that does not put personnel at undue risk.

Ya really can't get much more embarrassing than that, can ya?

It is unclear when the photo of Natalia Garibotto was given an endorsement by the pope’s verified account, but the “like” was still visible on 13 November before being unliked the next day, according to the Catholic News Agency (CNA).
COY Co, Garibotto’s management company, made the most of the publicity and reposted the image on its own Instagram account last Friday saying the company had “received the POPE’S OFFICIAL BLESSING”. Garibotto, who has 2.4 million Instagram followers, is also reported to have joked: “At least I’m going to heaven.” The Vatican said it was seeking explanations from Instagram after Pope Francis’s official account liked a photo of a scantily dressed Brazilian model.
C'mon man, I think that's fuckin' hilarious.

Very, very subtle. I like subtle.

November in Florida.
The struggle is real, my friend.

Fuck - I was hoping the vaccine was a success. If this back-and-forth jackass says it's safe, maybe it isn't.  Fauci tried to assure the public on Thursday that a coronavirus vaccine would be safe and effective and called for an end to suggestions that the development was rushed for political purposes.

“The process of the speed did not compromise at all safety, nor did it compromise scientific integrity,” Fauci said Thursday at the first White House coronavirus task force briefing in months. “It was a reflection of the extraordinary scientific advances in these types of vaccines, which allowed us to do it in months that actually took years before,” the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said.

“So I really want to settle that concern that people have about that,” he said, calling the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines “really solid.” “We really need to put to rest any concept that this was rushed in an inappropriate way,”

If you keep electing idiots and then you're surprised how stupid they are, who's the real idiot Skippy?

This guy isn't a complete jerkoff, is he? Nah - he's their trusted leader... Nearly all of California’s 40 million residents were placed on an overnight curfew Thursday. Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the “limited stay-at-home order,” which bans 'non-essential outings' between 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Saturday, and lasting until at least Dec. 21. Please tell me what the fuck this kinda thing can do for anything - it makes zero fuckin' sense...

“The virus is spreading at a pace we haven’t seen since the start of this pandemic and the next several days and weeks will be critical to stop the surge. We are sounding the alarm. It is crucial that we act to decrease transmission and slow hospitalizations before the death count surges.”

Tell me again why these people are famous?

The 7,843-square-foot property in Studio City, Los Angeles, doubled as Kris Jenner‘s home on the series, although she never actually lived there. Dubbed the Iredell Estate, it’s now asking $7.99 million. The exterior of the so-called “fake Kardashian house” appeared in the series to double as the family’s compound, according to the Real Deal. It has also appeared in “True Blood,” “American Horror Story,” “Chelsea Lately” and a Victoria’s Secret commercial.

Realtor.com shows the home, at 11947 Iredell St., has hopped on and off the market since May 2019, when it listed for $7.98 million. Its asking price has lowered to $7.79 million and, now, increased to its $7.99 million ask.

Everything is bullshit. Everything is smoke and mirrors. Nothing is real. I'm so hurt. Who can I believe any more?

That's a golf cart. The guy lives in my neighborhood. It's estimated that there are 55,000 (yes that's the number) golf carts here in The Villages. You really have no idea how incredibly fuckin' humongous this development really is...

Back in the early 80's I had a really nice apartment right next to a park in Newark. We had those old-school fire escapes, but I wouldn't dare go out on to them unless my ass was on fire. They were pretty rusty and rickity, if ya know what I mean.

The Jazz Commanders were a ragtag group of amateur musicians who used to get together and play every day in Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village. deBlazio shut them down. Guess he's more a hip-hop kinda guy. Jerkoff.

I'll leave you with this thought: Girls kissing girls is much more interesting than guys kissing guys, but I gotta admit - I would just as soon die a slow painful death before I ever wanna see Rachel Madcow kiss her beast of a girlfriend. That's juss' me sayin'...

  1. Only reason to stop at an A & W these days is for their root beer float.
one of our older cousins who was 14 at the time gave my 8yr old ass and my younger 7 yr old brother our first cigarettes in our uncle's basement on a Thanksgiving day. man we though we were cool. I became a regular smoker and allowed to smoke in the house at 15 because I had a job! Those were the days indeed. Heck even Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris shilled for a cigarette company. Camel's I think. I started on Lucky's
