The walls are starting to close in on all of us

Don't make me go over the numbers again with these chuckleheads...

But if I have to just to get
yer heads back on straight I will.

There are 331,002,651 people living
in the United States as of July 1st, 2020. Of those 331 million, there have been, as of yesterday, 5,340,232 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

That is approx. 1.6% of the total population. One point six persons per one hundred. NOT a high percentage.

I know that that is a big number, and it is, but here's the smaller number that relates to that:

There have been a total of 168,696 deaths attributed to the virus. Out of 331 million people, that means that basically one person out of every 2,000 people in the country has died, supposedly, of the virus.

So basically, they've closed down the economy of the entire fucking world, and most certainly have destroyed 50% or more of the small businesses - especially mom & pop businesses like restaurants and small stores - for these minute ratios.

Shame on you you feckless, brainless weasel bastards. You have the nerve to call yourselves leaders and representatives while you burn down our economy and let other thugs and morons burn down our cities and you do nothing to stop them?

God only knows what will be left of civilization when all is said and done with this shutdown bullshit.

Just for perspective, this article was in the Times of India back in April - over four months ago. THEN they were projecting a 50% failure rate of small businesses there. Imagine what that number will end up being? Unbelievable.

Good morning, none the less...

It's just a girl. Out walking her penguins.
Nothing to see here.

Is class warfare really an issue that
should form a political platform?

Is that what we have become - a country of the 'haves' against the 'have nots' - with a very wealhy person telling us who is who - If that's true, we are doomed as a society.

I personally don't give a shit how much money you or anyone else has (or doesn't have). If you have more than me, that's ok. I don't want or need anything you have. If you have less I feel no obligation to take from someone else (or myself) just to appease your class hatred.

I give what I can when I can to whom I feel is the most worthy but never, ever tell me I must. I am not dispassionate but I am empathetic, and I do what I can when and if I can.

I just a simple realist who does not covet the property or social status of others, and I abhor those who dare to tell me I must do more. That is my choice, not yours.

PS: The rich always win...

If my mother had looked like Sophia, I probably would still be living at home.

Today's 'Feel Good Story' of the day:

11 YR OLD SHOOTS AND KILLS A COUPLA SCUMBAG ILLEGALS IN BUTTE , MONTANA

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home. It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun. Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the ...street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David 0'Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news? An 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself against two murderous, illegal immigrants and she wins. She is still alive. Now THAT is Gun Control!
...

Thought for the day: Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist.'
...

I guess their slogan had been on the money all along.
They really do 'satisfy'.

And I thought it was hot here in North Central Florida...

Death Valley more than lived up to its name Sunday, when the mercury at the aptly named village of Furnace Creek soared to a scorching 130 degrees – possibly the highest recorded temperature on Earth, according to a report.

The sizzling reading was reached at 3:41 p.m. amid a historic heat wave in the West, according to the National Weather Service. If verified, it would break Death Valley’s previous August record by three degrees.

It also would be among the top-three highest temps ever measured on Earth at any time — and may, in fact, be the highest, according to the newspaper.

“Everything I’ve seen so far indicates that is a legitimate observation,” Randy Cerveny, who leads the World Meteorological Organization’s weather and climate extremes team

This just in from the
'TWITTER IS FUCKIN' STUPID DEPARTMENT':

A Trump supporter who ended up tweeting people to 'Leave democrat cities. Let them rot.' ended up being retweeted by President Donald Trump. The tweet was accompanied by video footage of a group of people driving in their car in New York City and being stopped by protesters in the street.

The tacit approval of the president appeared to anger many in certain media. The tweet comes as pictures of homeless people lining streets of Los Angeles and New York City have become ever more commonplace in recent months.

Have ya noticed that the bike rally at Sturgis has been going on for a week now and ya haven't really heard anything other than a little fuckin' peep about it on the news?

Wuddya suppose that's all about?

Think for a minute what a state of euphoria that must be.
That's really kinda spectacular.

They don't give a fuck about me and you, but now that the Postal Worker's Union has  endorsed Biden (imagine that), they'll get together for this bullshit.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Sunday her chamber will be recalled later this week to vote on legislation that would bar the US Postal Service from altering any services that were in place at the beginning of the year.
Lawmakers are currently on August break, but the plan is for them to return on Saturday, a senior Democratic aide told Reuters.
The House reportedly would focus on the ways in which they allege Trump’s postmaster general, Louis DeJoy, is undermining the agency ahead of the November election.

A new canopy of colorful umbrellas has been created over the streets of Portugal. Two years ago, photographer Patrcia Almeida photographed this whimsical installation put on by production company Sextafeira Producoes for the annual arts festival Agitagueda.

Held every July in the city of Agueda, the festival draws thousands who come to the city to enjoy art exhibits and concerts. While last year's umbrellas appeared darker in color than the previous, with more primary colors, this year it's a softer palette with sprinkles of purples and pinks.
...

It's almost as if 'why bother'...

Trump will only get about 30% of the vote in a state like New Jersey where the proliferation of big cities dominates the electoral landscape. I don't think there's a big city in the country anymore that leans right rather than liberal. Can you name one?
...

It really is tragic what these uber-liberal mayors are allowing to happen in the big cities.

I just got one for my wife for her Etsy business stuff.

Find it here for a great price:

Two Sandhill Cranes are fairly regular visitors to my front yard. The one on the right is just a baby. These are big-ass fuckin' birds...

If and when I ever put down my tool belt, I can see myself doing something like what these guys are doing...

Seriously, how much of a fuckin' lowlife do ya have to be to rob a fuckin' kids'
lemonade stand for godsake?

They're pegging all of my meters lately...

Has there EVER been a poll that's been able to accurately predict an election - at least in the last 30 years or so? I can't listen to any of that bullshit.

It's all fuckin' nonsense, yet somehow someone somewhere keeps paying someone somewhere to make this shit up. It makes zero friggin' sense...

  2. Anent the Murphy Measles, if you take away all the deaths caused by comorbidities (and gunshots, car crashes, etc.), the real death toll is about 1/5 of 1% of the "official" total.

The tacit approval of the president appeared to anger many in certain media.

Trump knows the power of the Demos is in big cities. Take away the big city populations and the Demos are finished for a couple of generations.

PS The umbrellas remind me of Fremont St in Vegas. Very cool.
