Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson has said residents are 'living a life of terror' as gang members host massive parties in rented vacation homes, blocking off streets, to spread coronavirus.
A video released by the sheriff's office shows dozens of cars blocking off a roadway in early July where a large group of people gathered to dance and party in the street. The parties are sometimes attended by up to 400 people and one person has already been killed as a result of shootings among those attending.
Gibson added that the county is experiencing is sudden recent spike in coronavirus cases as result but that residents are also in fear because the parties are being attended by 'unsavory' gang members.
