Sex in the back seat of a Toyota? Not in Brazil, you don't...

A couple having sex in the backseat of their car had an unfortunate interruption when a group of thugs carjacked them and dumped them naked in the street. The steamy late night session was captured on CCTV in Brazil on August 17 when the white car was parked on a quiet street. 

 

Three shadowy figures can be seen approaching the car from the rear on what appears to be a well-lit road. They force open the car doors, with one of the crooks getting behind the wheel while another gets in on the passenger side. A desperate arm reaches out from inside the car to try to pull the door closed in vain and keep the robbers out. Suddenly a shocked couple spring from passenger door of the car and out into the night air completely naked.

The funniest thing is I tried to google this story, and it came back to the original source in the Daily Mail. That link is here:

After that, there were like 150 million links to porn sites that show videos of the same topic, but real porno, not the report itself.

This guy swam past his doppelgänger in a swimming pool while on vacation in Las Vegas. Sean Douglas McArdle, from Kent, Ohio, was shocked when he bumped into the stranger who looked like his identical twin at the Flamingo in Vegas. The pair posed for a hilarious pic which has since been shared on Reddit and gained over 95,000 likes.

Is it 'targeted marketing' or just plain racist?

Black and Hispanic homebuyers can get a mortgage from Bank of America 

without a down payment or closing costs under a new program the company is offering in five U.S. cities that aims to address the 'racial home ownership gap', whatever the fuck that means.

The program, announced this week, is geared toward first-time 'homebuyers of color' in Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles and Miami, and specifically excludes white people.

 Bank of America said they have to lower their standards to implement the program, so applicants under this program will not have their credit score taken into account when applying for a home loan. Instead, loan processors will look at their ethnicity and/or the color of their skin first, then - and only in some cases - if the applicant has paid their rent, phone, auto insurance or utility bills on time. 

The program, announced Tuesday, is intended to 'help Black and Hispanic families own a home and start building wealth', according to AJ Barkley, Bank of America's head of neighborhood and community lending. "What we don't want to do with this program is place people in homes they cannot stay in."

 

 

So, I ask again - how is this not racist at it's core? Are we no longer a 

country where what's good for one is good for all? (Asking for a friend).

President of the not-so-United States (according to him, anyway) Joe Biden lashed out Thursday night at Republicans who have embraced the "Make America Great Again" philosophy central to Donald Trump's presidency, saying it's "like semi-fascism." 

How fucking idiotic is that? Wanting to make your country great is like honoring Hitler and Mussolini?

Biden made the comment at a fundraiser for Democrats at a home in Bethesda, Md., ahead of a kickoff rally he headlined at a high school in Rockville, Md., to mark the final countdown to November's midterm elections. "What we’re seeing now is the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy. It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the - I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism," Biden said. 

What a despicable thing for the leader of a democracy - the leader of the free world ferfucksake - to say about the people he leads. Wudda jerkoff...

Joe Biden’s speech in Philadelphia on Thursday evening was a full-blown attack on Donald Trump and MAGA (that stands for 'Make America Great Again' in case you and he have forgotten what an evil sentiment that is) Republicans that “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.”

I get it - it's extremist to believe in more personal responsibility, more ethical behavior, lower taxes, better law enforcement, fewer regulations, balanced budgets and fiscal responsibility. I can see where that is a true threat to what they want to refer to as their 'democracy'.

Despite White House suggestions that the address would not be political, it’s hard to not see how it was divisive, derisive, mean-spirited, angry and just plain wrong.

Just as the midterms kick into high gear, Biden turned the attention on his 2020 rival, Trump, who, by endorsing candidates like Dr. Oz and Blake Masters makes him out somehow to be evil personified. 

Has Joe endorsed anyone that you know of? He went to Philadelphia, and Fetterman didn't show up. Think about that...

Police in California have released a photo of a lusty couple who allegedly performed a sex act at the top of the stands during Sunday's Athletics-Seattle Mariners game at RingCentral Coliseum. No arrests have yet been made, but the couple - a man in a black shirt and woman wearing pink pants - have been pictured on surveillance footage as they headed towards the stadium at the weekend. Earlier clips appeared to show the woman's head in the man's crotch region, although the resolution of the video was not particularly clear as it was taken from across the ballpark. Nevertheless, it caught the attention of fellow spectators, one of whom decided to recorded the allegedly lewd act during the A's vs. Mariners game.

 The chairman of a Russian oil giant has died after reportedly falling out of a hospital window.

Ravil Maganov, 67, the chairman of Russia's second-largest oil producer Lukoil, died on Thursday after falling from a window on the sixth floor of the Central Clinical Hospital in Moscow, according to Russian media reports.

Maganov died "on the spot" and his body was found by medical personnel.

Police are investigating and have not yet confirmed the cause of death. However, police believe Maganov's death was a suicide.

Texas sent around 100 migrants to Chicago on Wednesday, as Republican Governor Greg Abbott expands his effort to push responsibility for border crossers to his Democratic political opponents.
The buses arrived at Chicago's Union Station at around 7:30pm - after it was revealed that Texas has already spent $12million on taking migrants to New York City and Washington DC. 
Among the 100 or so people who were on the buses, around 20 to 30 were small children. Pregnant women and children were among the busload. The migrants said they were from Venezuela.

Several major US air carriers caved to public pressure by confirming they will pay for meals and lodging to passengers who endure delays or cancellations ahead of the potentially chaotic Labor Day travel weekend. The move by the carriers comes after Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg demanded airline CEOs provide free meals and hotel rooms for lengthy delays “at a minimum” due a period of widespread flight disruptions and cancellations.

Most US airlines already offered meal vouchers or complimentary lodging to passengers in the event of delays, but the benefits were not explicitly detailed in plans on their website or other public-facing areas.

As a result, some customers had to be aware in advance about the existence of the vouchers in order to take advantage of the benefit.

California isn't the only crazy state in the union...

 

The mountains of bags are an unintended consequence of New Jersey’s strict new bag ban in supermarkets. It went into effect in May and prohibits not only plastic bags but paper bags as well. The well-intentioned law seeks to cut down on waste and single-use plastics, but for many people who rely on grocery delivery and curbside pickup services their orders now come in heavy-duty reusable shopping bags - lots and lots of them, week after week.

While nearly a dozen states nationwide have implemented restrictions on single-use plastic bags, New Jersey is the only one to ban paper bags because of their environmental impact. 

The law also bans polystyrene foam food containers and cups (a full ten years after almost everyone else banned them) and restricts restaurants from handing out plastic straws unless they’re requested.

The University of California, Berkeley has introduced a mask mandate for students who have not taken a seasonal flu shot. 'Masks are required during flu season if not vaccinated for flu,' an announcement on the school's website read. 

The guidelines also strongly recommends that all people on UC Berkeley campuses wear masks indoors regardless of their Covid-19 vaccination status.
