Some roads are worth taking just for the view. Standing proudly in the heart of Donegal, Mount Errigal never fails to leave me nearly speechless. What appears to be snow on it's face is simply just what it is. From the winding road leading towards its iconic quartzite peak to the ever-changing skies above, it's a reminder of just how breathtaking Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way truly is.
Whether you're hiking to the summit - and good for you if you do it - or simply stopping to admire the view, Errigal is one of those places that stays with you long after you've left.
