We called it 'The Subway', but...

 

This is a vintage PCC streetcar operating on the Newark City Subway line in New Jersey. The trolley is depicted crossing Park Street in Newark during the mid-1960s.

These specific cars were used until 2001 before being replaced by the Newark Light Rail system. Less than half the trip from the starting point (near my house) to downtown Newark was actaully underground. The car you see here is travelling through Branch Brook Park.
