Just across the U.S.-Mexico border in Baja California, a small town called Los Algodones has become a dental destination. With a population of about 6,000 people and over 300 dental clinics packed into just a few streets, it's earned the nickname "Molar City."
Every year, thousands of Americans cross into the town for cheaper treatments—often saving 50% to 70% on procedures like crowns, implants, and root canals. Some clinics even offer free shuttles and same-day service. The town also has pharmacies, optical shops, and plenty of parking for day-trippers. What started as a quiet farming town is now a global hub for dental tourism. A small place with a huge smile.

ReplyDeleteA very good friend of mine took two trips there and got what would have been $30K in the US done for a total of $6K. I thought he was crazy but he never had one iota of trouble or any problem with any of it for the rest of his life and he had about 30 years of use before he died of a fairly ripe old age.
