He musta sold some Russian some bad cabbage...

A 52-year-old Ukrainian vegetable vendor named Yurii survived a harrowing attack in August 2026 when a Russian first-person view (FPV) drone hunted him through a street market in Kherson. Footage released by Ukrainian police showed the drone pursuing him around his delivery van before detonating.
The Attack in KhersonThe Victim: Identified as Yurii, a 52-year-old civilian from the neighboring Mykolaiv region who was setting up his produce stall with his wife.
A remotely piloted FPV drone zeroed in on Yurii, chasing and circling him as he tried to use his vending truck for cover. He recalled trying to hold up garlic and point at his vegetables to show the operator he was only a civilian, but the drone continued its assault and exploded nearby.
Yurii sustained a concussion, severe shock, and shrapnel wounds to his legs and back, but survived the blast. That drone had actually chased the poor bastard around his truck a couple of times before going off.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned the event as a deliberate war crime.
Officials and human rights monitors noted that the attack fits a broader, systematic pattern of terror tactics in frontline areas like Kherson—locally referred to as a "human safari" — where small Russian drones have frequently targeted unarmed civilians.

  1. Interesting that there was a Ukrainian Drone flying above the hapless civilian being attacked.

What would be the random chance a Ukrainian drone JUST Happened to be there awaiting such a "War crime" attack?

Any bets the attacking drone WAS Ukrainian?

    1. That was no Ukrainian drone flying around. The whole thing was captured by a security camera you idiot!

This is what Russians do in Ukraine! Isn't it amazing that our leadership has chosen to align the US with Russia in this war? I get the not wanting to give weapons to Ukraine but why take Putin's side?
For the first time in years Ukraine is pushing back on Russia and it is starting to look like they may be able to push the Russian invaders out. Trump is becoming the first American president to be on the losing side of 2 wars in 1 year.

    2. From the tilt of the picture, I'd go with stationary camera that has had it's base knock off kilter but the camera was still working. Russia has been doing enough of it own targeting of civilians without needing any help from Ukraine to fake attacks.

    3. AnonymousAugust 5, 2026 at 10:02 AM You're the idiot. Ukraine is/was the most crooked country in Europe for decades. Remember Joe and hunter being on the Ukraine grift scam? Of course not because you just watch left wing bullshit. And this country has given billions to Ukraine while Americans were locked down and driven into poverty by inflation. Where did that inflation come from? Military spending sprees.

  2. Alleged Russian drones, given the Uks predilection for targeting it's own citizens.
