Everyone’s in the ‘Same Boat.’ The Zac Brown Band handed out free cruise tickets to more than 37,000 revelers at its Fenway Park show in what the country star branded “the biggest giveaway in history” worth a whopping $40 million. Brown, 48, announced the reward just before he performed the track “Same Boat” - a song he collaborated with the late “Margaritaville” artist Jimmy Buffett in 2021.
“I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat,” the Atlanta-born singer told the legion of fans that had packed into the famous ballpark - home to the hated Boston Red Sox, NBC10 reported.
Okay. I MIGHT go if there were no kids. The idea of being surrounded by 4,000 Parrotheads is a bit daunting, I have to admit...

At under 25 bucks each, a good deal, too.

Okay, were all in the same boat. All you folks working diligently at drilling holes and bailing water into our boat need to stop helping and find another boat to sink.
ReplyDeletebeing on a boat like that is a lot like prison. BUT with the chance of drowning thrown in. the whole idea of cruise ships scares me to death. you are trapped on a big ass boat with 3-4 thousand strangers ? no thanks, I will pass
ReplyDeleteA chance to ride on a floating Petrie dish with no escape, stuffing yourself with the all you eat buffet and drinking watered down liquor that you have to pay for. Keep your free ticket.
