We're gaining in population and power...

Florida's stock rising. It is now the world's 14th largest economy
as blue states continue going down in a 'death spiral'...
Pulling in capital, talent and corporations at a historic clip, Florida is no longer just competing with rival states - it’s competing with global economies. New data from the Florida Chamber of Commerce shows the Sunshine State's $1.8 trillion economy has climbed to No. 14 globally, according to the Florida Chamber Foundation. The Chamber says the ranking demonstrates the state's emphasis on lower taxes, streamlined regulations and free enterprise.
Why is that not a model for other States - the Blue States? Certainly they can see what Florida and Texas are doing, yet they steadfastly refuse to learn a single lesson from what the 'Free Staters' do - and how they prosper...

Florida’s daily population migration has normalized from its post-pandemic peak down to about 500 to 600 people a day, yet the wealth migration stayed solid at over $4 million every single hour.
That metric has remained strong as places like New York, New Jersey and California are losing population, they're losing wealth, they're losing businesses and places like Florida are gaining them.

Curtis LeMay ordered an attack that killed an estimated 100,000 people in a single night and changed the way modern wars would be fought. The target wasn't Berlin. It wasn't Normandy.
It wasn't even the atomic bomb. It was Tokyo
On the night of March 9–10, 1945, more than 300 American B-29 bombers crossed the skies over Japan carrying almost 2,000 tons of incendiary bombs. Within hours, entire neighborhoods were engulfed in flames. Wooden homes became fuel. Temperatures rose high enough to create firestorms. By morning, roughly 16 square miles of Tokyo had been destroyed. An estimated 100,000 civilians were dead. More people died that night than in many of the war's most famous battles.
Somewhere within that story there is a lesson for the Mullahs, but only if their eyes are opened enough for them to see...

Recent financial disclosures reveal that Republican groups are outraising their Democratic rivals in the run-up to this year’s crucial midterm elections.

According to new filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), MAGA Inc., a pro-Donald Trump political action committee and funding vehicle, has amassed just over $400 million by the end of June, up from around $304 million at the start of the year.

I don't wanna come off sounding like some kinda leftie/commie jerkoff - nothing could be further from the truth. On seeing that headline, it struck me for the first time that, as a society, our prespectives and priorities are kinda fucked up There is no reason whatsoever that the Chiefs need a new stadium. The one they have works just fine. The only reason they're getting a new one is because te team owner's dick is too small - and some jerkoff politicians want to piss away somebody's money.
Imagine if they took that $ 3,000,000,000.00 and spent on feeding, fixing and housing our wounded and homeless veterans. Or eight million other worthy causes. Juss' sayin'...

People should skip the blue post office collection boxes in favor of dropping off their mail in person, especially if the envelope contains a check, U.S. Postal Service officials say. The reason? The iconic blue boxes are a prime target for mail theft.
Police in Crafton, Penn. said there were three recent check washing incidents involving the use of an outside mailbox at the Crafton Post Office. The situation isn’t unique – the U.S. Postal Inspection Service said check washing and other related mail-theft schemes cost Americans more than $1 billion a year.
Check washing involves scammers stealing physical checks - home mailboxes and blue drop-off boxes outside USPS facilities are popular targets – and using household chemicals to dissolve the ink. Criminals leave your signature intact but rewrite the payee as themselves and alter the dollar amounts to a higher sum. The legitimate-looking check is then cashed and your money is stolen.

It's kinda sad to realize that almost no one will ever have their feet held to the fire for all of the incredibly stupid shit they did during COVID, and not a single lesson was learned by anyone foolish enough to fall in lock-step with those idiots and their mandates - and closings.

  1. If I mail something from home it is a minimal 3 weeks before it is delivered as all mail is processed 250 miles away in Atlanta so I drop it elsewhere. Any mail I drop in the big blue box outside the post office is pretty much guaranteed to make it inside the Ft. Stewart post office.
