We don't have HOA's, but this community standards thing is open to debate...

A The Villages homeowner known for filling his yard with flags, lights and other decorations says he’ll have to remove most of them after neighbors complained and the community updated its outdoor lighting rules. Dennis McGrath-Wagner said his displays are a “labor of love” and his way of spreading cheer.
“ People come and thank me for my decorations,” McGrath-Wagner said. But some neighbors say the decorations have gone too far. Noel Hanson, who filed a complaint with the Community Development District board along with several other residents, said the displays are excessive and have created tension in the neighborhood. “He does say derogatory things to other people, and people have become afraid to be out and around this area,” Hanson said.
The Villages is divided in to 'Development districts' that oversee the individual communities and set guidelines and standards for homeowners. It's kinda like the way an HOA works in the sense that their rulings are enforceable.
The problemm isn't the boards themselves - it's the jerkoff neighbors who butt in to your shit. I admit this guy's lawn bullshit is stupid. I wouldn't want to have to look at it, but I am fully aware that I have the power and ability to look away and not pay attention to it. Obviously, others don't feel the same way. Juss' sayin'...

I don't know who this Bad Hombre dude is, but it's pretty clear he knows how these motherfuckers operate. The whole Biden-then-Harris thing is a prime example of how manipulative they can  be. God I hate politics.

Washington, D.C., has the highest rates of binge and problem drinking in America. It’s a booze problem fueled by a uniquely stressful environment where many of the corporate structures of accountability and oversight don’t exist. From the executive branch to Capitol Hill, K Street lobbying firms to high-pressure newsrooms, free alcohol is easily accessible.
The days of the three-martini lunch may be gone, but they have been replaced by hard-partying nights filled with fundraisers, receptions or long bar tabs. “There is just a strong push and culture of intoxication in D.C. It’s been like that for a long time,” said Kevin Sabet, who served in the White House’s Office of National Drug Control Policy in three different administrations. “It’s not a Republican or Democrat issue. It really cuts across all ideologies.”

Wow. Ya see a headline likle that and think to yourself - well, at least I think to myself - 'How fuckin' fragile is this guy's psyche that he can't even flip a burger without wanting to get hammered'? Anyway, he was a lot funnier when he was heavier, at least that's how I see it. It's kinda weird to see him this skinny after having seen him much bigger for 30 years or more. Kinda like this:

No way of knowing if any of that is true or not.
Why do people create shit like this?

There are politicians who want to guide and serve, others who want to lead - and those are the ones that are the scariest. Especially ones like this guy who've never held a job in their entire life. Never. Not a one. And they elect him Mayor. It's scary when you realize how most people are just sheep who want - and worse need - to be led.
Social Democrats have a big tent you can all fit under.

Following Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden last week, one entrepreneur had the foresight to create and market souvenirs before the singer inevitably reveals her next scheme to capitalize on the widely publicized event. Confirming that people will buy anything, New York City artist Justin Gignac has already sold out of an edition of his pocket-sized vitrine boxes filled with street trash found outside of the T&T wedding. He sells them online for $ 25.00 each, and has sold every single one he can put together. What does that tell you about people? I think P.T. Barnum said it best.

Once again - very subtle. We like subtle, don't we?

High in the skies over Argentina, a flight instructor at the controls of a Cessna 150 suddenly turned to his student and reportedly said, “You know what you have to do, carry on.” Then he took off his headset, unbuckled his seat belt, shoved open the door and jumped out of the plane. The 22-year-old student, identified in the news account only as Rosario, already had a pilot’s license and was able to safely land the aircraft.
The incident is now under investigation by the Federal Court of Córdoba, Argentina, and the plane has been impounded. Authorities have not yet revealed why 42-year-old Leandro Andrés Bertazzo leaped to his death Saturday from the Cessna.
Eduardo Álvarez, director of the Flying Parrot Córdoba flying school where Bertazzo worked, said that they only recently learned that the flight instructor had been under psychiatric care and that he had no clue Bertazzo was planning to kill himself. In fact, Álvarez said, Bertazzo had gone on a training flight with another student earlier that day.
“He made this tragic decision aboard an aircraft with one other person by his side,” Álvarez said in the interview. “There’s no way to think about it or understand it, but the human mind is so complex, so treacherous.”

Amuseum in Rotterdam has paid tribute to the idiosyncratic character of one of the most influential figures in the Dutch arts by spreading 800lb of peanut butter across the floor of one of its galleries.
You read that correctly.
