Washington Square Park, located in Greenwich Village is one of the best known of New York City's 1,900 public parks. It is a landmark as well as a meeting place and center for cultural activity. The northern entrance of the park is dominated by the Washington Square Arch, a marble triumphal arch built in 1892 to celebrate the centennial of George Washington's inauguration. The fountain area has long been one of the city's popular spots for residents and tourists. Most of the buildings surrounding Washington Square Park now belong to NYU, but were at one time fashionable wealthy homes, apartments for writers, and studios for artists.

    Our 2005 stick shift Camry was fully assembled in Japan, mostly of Japanese parts. Despite dozens and dozens of recalls of Camrys assembled in Kentucky (all automatics), our car was NEVER impacted by a recall. So track American parts, etc. Tracking quality would be a better measure, because that is what SHOULD MATTER, not just where it's made.
