Platner has quit his Senate race after a bombshell rape allegation triggered a Democratic revolt and threw the party’s hopes of flipping a key seat into chaos. The newcomer bowed out just weeks after winning the Democratic nomination in Maine, where party chiefs are now scrambling to find a replacement.
The Demorat honchos up there will find someone more leftist - more liberal than this gu could have ever been, so it'll be interesting to see which sheep they throw to the wolves.
His exit comes after Jenny Racicot, a woman he dated during an on-off relationship that ended five years ago, accused him of raping her in 2021. Platner, 41, has denied the allegation, calling any claim of non-consensual behavior “categorically false.”
This is what character assasination is all about. Nothing ever has to be proven. The mere accusation is enough to derail him. The only guy I know of who ever got away with it was Mr. Bill. Crazy, right?

DeleteIn the last few years Democrats have already kicked Platner, Swalwell, Franken, Cuomo and more out of the party and that is just of the top of my head.
Meanwhile on the Republican side, Trump, Gaetz, Tony Gonzalez, Roy Moore and more were never ejected from the party, some are in positions of power and many of them are still in good standing among the base.
Fuck all rapists, shun them out of public life, convict them if possible and most certainly don't elevate them to positions of power
This was the Democrat plan from the get go. Platner is just the willing filthy whore they chose to accomplish their goals. Warthog faced Governor Mills was not electable but she has paid her dues and proven herself a faithful soldier to the radical libturd cause so they need to get her in by hook or by crook. You watch, the Maine democrat party will pull a Kamala with her and nominate her as the most suitable candidate to replace the Portapotty Pervert Platner.
