Veteran Democratic pinhead James Carville is throwing cold water on the left’s dream scenario: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez winning the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028. He said plainly that AOC’s far-left politics are wildly out of step with the Democrats who actually pick their nominee, reminding listeners that Democrats have never nominated their most liberal candidate for president, even back in the 1970s.
He doesn’t think she’ll even try for the White House because, in his words, “she’s not gonna have any chance.” In simple terms, Carville is saying the party likes AOC as a progressive star on social media and cable news, but when it’s time to choose a nominee, Democrats still gravitate toward more moderate, establishment-friendly choices, in spite of the fact that they pushed Kamala in to the race without a problem.
In plain English, the voters who matter most in the early primary states are more cautious and centrist than AOC’s young, urban, progressive base. Despite these warnings, AOC still shows up in the top tier of early 2028 Democratic polling, alongside names like Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, and Josh Shapiro.
Carville is mentally ill.

ReplyDeleteNothing in the way of political developments charms me more than a bone-deep, conscience-based schism in the democrat party. May the DAZIs on the wacko left depart from the democrats on the far left and both leave the broad middle to the only viable alternative.
