The photo - colorized from the original - is entitled 'Sea Urchins'. Taken in Atlantic City, New Jersey, circa 1905. It is also known by a second name - 'Children's Delight (Young's Pier in background).'

The amount of detail available in the original is striking. Very few people wore light-colored swim uniforms or costumes (what they were refered to at the time) and modesty was the overarching theme, unlike today...
