And then one day he was shooting at some food...

The Clampett's 'Beverly Hills' Mansion is not for sale, but if it was, what would it go for these days? This limestone clad mansion in Bel Air owned by the late TV executive Jerry Perenchio (he founded Univision amongst other things) took a serious price cut the last time it changed hands.
The commanding French neoclassical residence, which measures 25,000 square feet, was, for a time, the most expensive listing on the open market in the U.S.
The property, which came up for sale 2017 for a staggering $350 million, has long been the cream of the crop among high-end estates. Lachlan Murdoch - the son of the media tycoon Rupert Murdoch. - finally  purchased the property for $150 million in 2019 - $200 million below the original asking price.
Named Chartwell, the residence was built in 1933 by Sumner Spaulding, the architect who also designed the famed Greenacres Estate in Beverly Hills and the Catalina Casino. The 10-acre property includes a 75-foot swimming pool, manicured gardens, and a 12,000-bottle wine cellar.
Chartwell was famously used as the lavish mansion inhabited by the Clampett family on The Beverly Hillbillies in the 1960s, and the main sponsor for the show - through it's entire run - was Kelloggs.
